Gift cards
An hour in a bay, a meal, a round of drinks — any amount from $5 to $1,000. They pick the night.
Choose the location first
A gift card only works at the location it was bought from. Lakeville and Stillwater run separate accounts, so a Lakeville card cannot be spent at Stillwater, or the other way round. If you are not certain which one they go to, it is worth asking before you buy.

What you get
- Any amount from $5 to $1,000
- You choose the figure at checkout rather than picking from a fixed set.
- Bay time, food or drink
- It is not restricted to golf. A card can cover a meal and a round of drinks as easily as an hour in a bay.
- A card in hand, or an email
- Come in and buy a traditional card if you want something to hand over, or have it sent by email — which is the one that still works on 23 December.
- It never expires
- There is no expiry date. A card found in a drawer three years from now is still good for what was put on it.
What a card will not cover: memberships, hour packages and league entries are bought separately and cannot be paid for with a gift card. It is for bay time, food and drink.
Got an older card? Cards bought before we moved to Square came across with their balances and still work. If yours will not scan, call the venue and they will sort it out.

Buying for a golfer, and you are not one
- They do not have to be good
- A bay is booked by the hour and the difficulty is a setting. Someone who has never held a club has a decent night; so does a single-figure handicap.
- They pick the night
- A bay is booked by the hour, so it fits a Tuesday evening as easily as a Saturday afternoon. Nothing has to be scheduled at the point you buy it.
- It works in February
- Which is the point. An outdoor golf gift bought in December is a gift they cannot open for four months.
If it is November or December
Winter is the season this whole business exists for — league nights, work parties, and no golf outdoors. If you are giving one as a Christmas present, suggest they put the date in as soon as they have one, rather than leaving it until a Saturday in February happens to be free.
